At 3:35am, I woke up to a message that, the flight was delayed, so I am going to go sailing again, swimming in the ocean and finish my third book.
Because the flight was delayed, it meant coming downstairs and checking out and seeing what room I get so I went down 3 flights of stairs with my luggage. It is much lighter than when I came but still heavy. The shoes get you every time!. The front desk sweetly smiled and said I could keep my same room, they just “rekeyed “for me and redid the wifi. I wandered back to my bungalow-furthest one away and up the 3 flights again. As I opened the room again, it was a reminder of goldilocks all over again -with 3 beds. With all the exercise I was getting, and the 3am departure for the airport, I knew I would need a nap later in the day. There are days I actually feel my age-but I just keep going anyways, although at times slower. Aging with grace can sometimes be challenging.
- “Aging gracefully is accepting the rhythm of time while dancing to your own melody.” “Let your age not define your spirit, for grace is ageless and beauty timeless.” “The secret to eternal youth lies not in avoiding wrinkles, but in embracing the stories they tell.”
Well more changes to flights now I am leaving at 1 pm on Saturday. So tomorrow shows upas a day for sailing, swimming, reading and maybe a trip to the market. I have to hunt down another book, Deanna had a couple which I borrowed as they were only a little over 100 pages and light reading. She works at a library, so of course I am returning them to her, I read 3 books already that I had taken with me. I left them in the room for someone else who might be interested in historical mysteries.. I gave Red Car and Emily an update. I also sent a message to Mark regarding payroll for Makie and River
I am going to read after the show and head to bed early.
